Lorenz von Ehren in United Kingdom

Royal Arsenal, London
Today, the Royal Arsenal area is one of London's trendiest residential areas. The up to nine-metre high column oaks (Quercus robur 'Fastigiata Koster') pay their respects to the historical building (a former ammunition factory and prison) providing a more than worthy setting.

Alconbury

A new district for 20,000 residents was created on a former airfield. The large number of solitary trees played an important role in the spatial concept from the beginning of the project.
Trees used: Salix alba 'Tristis' (hanging willow), Betula pubescens (bog birch), Tilia cordata 'Greenspire' (city linden)

Goodman's Field, London
The trees, greenery and water areas elegantly structure the exterior space of this prestigious residential quarter. An oasis to unwind and relax. Trees used: Platanus acerifolia (maple-leaved plane tree), Carpinus betulus 'Fastigiata' (hornbeam), Quercus palustris (marsh oak).

Adare Manor, Ireland

Before losing one's gaze in the wide vistas of Adare Manor's Irish landscaped garden,it is impossible not to be captivated by the meticulously laid out formal gardens. These lure visitors into the park early to give them a closer look at this beautiful work of art.
Trees used: Cedrus deodara (Himalayan cedar), Cercidiphyllum japonicum (Kadsura tree), Fagus sylvatica (red beech), Juglans nigra (black walnut), Liquidambar stryraciflua (amber tree), Taxus baccata (European yew).

Oxford Brooks University, Oxford
Trees and other woody plants from Lorenz von Ehren nurseries create a feel-good atmosphere throughout the university campus. Looking at a green landscape relaxes the mind and facilitates learning. Trees used: Quercus palustris (marsh oak), Carpinus japonica (Japanese hornbeam), Cornus controversa (pagoda dogwood)

Angle Field, Liverpool
The idea: a series of ‘renaissance‘ gardens for the 21st century. To recreate this effect when remodelling the ‘Angel Field‘ at the Liverpool Hope University campus, umbrella-shaped amelanchier shrubs and lines of lime trees were planted along with several cloud-pruned trees.
Trees used: Tilia cordata 'Greenspire' (small-leaved lime), Tilia plat. 'Rubra' (broadleaved lime), Carpinus betulus 'Fastigiata' (upright European hornbeam), Pinua nigra austriaca (Austrian black pine, bonsai), Amelanchier lamarckii (June berry, umbrella shaped)

Country estate, Oxfordshire

Imposing and effective, the tree-lined entrance drive is partially planted with 60-year-old box trained lime trees Trees used: Tilia plattyphyllos (broad-leaved lime, box shaped)

Our local consultant, Sebastian Beindorff, +44 (0)781 5912785 will be happy to advise you and select the trees you need according to your personal requirements.
